Cancer Biology Research Associate

We are seeking a highly skilled Postdoctoral Research Fellow to join our team at Jefferson Health. The successful candidate will have a strong background in cancer biology and a proven track record of conducting complex research projects.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct research in the laboratory of a principal investigator, focusing on the analysis of signal transduction pathways in human melanoma.
- Perform literature searches and publish the results of research projects.
- Design and execute complex, analytical and technical laboratory experiments, analysis and other duties as required in the study, diagnosis and treatment of disease and/or pure research work.
- Present research findings at lab meetings, research progress seminars, professional meetings and conferences.
- Apply for fellowships and grants to support research projects.
- Must have received a doctoral degree in biomedical science, e.g., PhD, MD, DDS, DMD, DVM, or comparable doctoral degree from an accredited domestic or foreign institution.
- Basic laboratory skills and graduate knowledge to effectively perform assigned and independent research is required.
- Expertise in molecular biology, protein biochemistry and tissue culture is required.
