We are seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Research Fellow to join our team at Jefferson Health. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic research group focused on understanding the genetic, molecular, and biochemical mechanisms of tumor development and survival.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct cutting-edge research in cancer biology, utilizing genetically engineered mouse models, primary cell culture, retroviral gene transfer technologies, protein purification, genomics, microscopy, and computational biology.
- Characterize BCL2 family members and their roles in B cell lymphoma survival and drug resistance, as well as non-coding RNA in carcinomas and lymphomas.
- Collaborate with our team to design and implement experiments, analyze data, and publish research findings in high-profile journals.
- PhD or M.D. degree in a relevant field.
- Strong background in cancer biology techniques, including biochemistry, cell culture, mouse models, flow cytometry, and genomics.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
