The Temple University Health System is seeking exceptional candidates for tenure-track faculty roles at the assistant professor and associate professor levels within the Cancer Epigenetics Institute and Cancer Signaling and Epigenetics Program. We welcome applications from outstanding individuals specializing in various domains of epigenetics, with a particular focus on the following research areas:
- Exploring the interplay between genome architecture and spatial transcriptomics in relation to cancer dynamics;
- Investigating the impact of modified RNAs and epi-transcriptomics on cancer biology;
- Employing computational and systems biology approaches to advance chromatin research;
- Examining the connections between immuno-oncology and epigenetic mechanisms;
- Understanding the links between metabolic pathways and epigenetic regulation.
Successful candidates will become part of a collaborative and innovative institution dedicated to translating fundamental research into clinical applications. Our center has a rich history of excellence in cancer research and treatment, housing a vibrant community of 119 research faculty members who collectively secure significant funding. The faculty collaborate closely with clinical teams that serve a large patient population and support numerous clinical trials, enhancing the translation of scientific discoveries into patient care.
Applicants should possess a Ph.D. and/or M.D. degree, demonstrating a strong track record of research achievements. The application package must include a curriculum vitae, a concise statement (up to two pages) outlining research interests and future objectives, and a list of three references who can provide letters of recommendation.
