Job Title: Territory Sales Representative

Herc Rentals is seeking a motivated and results-driven Territory Sales Representative to join our team. As a Territory Sales Representative, you will be responsible for identifying, developing, and nurturing business relationships with companies and individuals within your designated territory.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and grow revenue through daily territory visits and customer interactions
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve desired results
  • Maintain and exceed sales quotas by renting and selling equipment
  • Identify customer needs and react accordingly, understanding market conditions and local competitors' pricing
  • Penetrate customers at the strategic level to diversify the customer base
  • Support all team members
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Promotions, Advertising Sales, or Business Administration preferred
  • Proven track record with 3-5 years of outside sales experience in the industrial market and/or heavy equipment industry preferred
Skills:
  • Ability to drive/operate multiple types of vehicles and equipment
  • Ability to engage in natural verbal interaction with customers
  • Ability to follow up with customers in a timely manner
  • Able to walk into unfamiliar environments and adjust rapidly to the setting
  • Attention to detail
  • Multi-tasking individual who uses project management skills to accomplish goals
  • Customer service focused
  • Must react to changing business needs
  • Solid and proven computer skill set (knowledge of MS Office is preferred)
  • Works and communicates effectively with all levels of the company
Compensation:

$35K - $40K plus uncapped commission & vehicle
