Job Summary

We are seeking a Sales Representative who is passionate about sales, wants a challenge, and has a strong work ethic. This is a territory-based, outside sales role with around 25% travel and an opportunity for a hybrid schedule. The ideal individual will play a pivotal role on our sales team, responsible for driving revenue and market expansion within the designated territory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end sales cycle for their assigned market(s), including prospecting new customers, developing existing relationships, closing sales, and processing orders as needed.
  • Develop and execute sales strategy for their assigned market to meet company-defined sales goals.
  • Utilize marketing materials, corporate website, demos, and quotations to enhance the sales process.
  • Recommend pricing strategies to the company.
  • Partner with the engineering department when necessary to aid in the development of new products or modification of existing products based on customer needs.
  • Partner with the marketing department, as necessary, to develop and strengthen marketing materials for sales opportunities.
  • Document sales activity in a customer relationship management tool.
  • Utilize inside sales and sales support specialists to facilitate the sales cycle.

Requirements

  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and ability to work independently.
  • Sales management and marketing skills.
  • Strategic and creative thinker.
  • CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to travel within the territory.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; secondary education preferred.
  • 3 years of successful sales and territory management, with a demonstrated history of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Experience in transportation sales preferred.
  • Exposure to consultative sales, spin selling, and/or Sandler selling methodologies preferred.
  • Consumer electronics and/or software experience preferred.
