Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a Training Specialist who will play a crucial role in supporting our Engineering Services. This position is based in Philadelphia, PA.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Deliver training on the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (AC&R) Systems at a specialized facility.
  • Evaluate training needs and design comprehensive, interactive, instructor-led courses.
  • Prepare and finalize training documentation and instructional materials derived from technical sources.
  • Conduct training sessions for diverse audiences and assess the effectiveness of training programs.
  • Develop tailored training plans and curricula, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to enhance training content and delivery.
  • Maintain meticulous records of training activities and participant feedback to inform continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Strong communication skills and a Bachelor's degree in training or equivalent military experience in curriculum development.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in planning and executing training programs for large-scale initiatives.
  • Proficient understanding of AC&R systems, including the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks independently.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Project and the Microsoft Office Suite.

Security and Travel Requirements:

  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance is required.
  • Occasional travel may be necessary, not exceeding 10% of the time.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and transport equipment weighing at least 30 lbs.
  • Willingness to work in various environments, including confined spaces and extreme temperatures.
