Position Overview:

Instructor Analyst / Training Specialist

Objective:

  • We are currently seeking a qualified Instructor Analyst / Training Specialist to provide essential support to our Engineering Services.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Deliver training and guidance on the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (AC&R) Systems.
  • Evaluate training needs and develop tailored instructional materials.
  • Design and enhance complex, interactive, instructor-led technical courses.
  • Prepare comprehensive training documentation and instructional resources from technical data.
  • Facilitate training sessions for diverse audiences and assess training effectiveness.
  • Create clear training objectives and goals, ensuring alignment with operational requirements.
  • Conduct specialized training classes and develop associated curricula.
  • Identify necessary resources for effective training implementation.
  • Engage in research and analysis to support training initiatives.
  • Provide supplementary materials and lead discussions to enhance learning.
  • Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) on training development.
  • Continuously improve training programs based on participant feedback.

Qualifications:

  • Strong communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in training or equivalent military experience in curriculum development and instruction.
  • A minimum of three years' experience in managing training development for large-scale programs.
  • Proficient understanding of AC&R theory, mechanical layouts, and HVAC controls.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and documentation.
  • Experience with NAVSEA Standard Items, NFPA, EPA regulations, and Navy specifications.
  • Commitment to safety and quality standards.

Additional Skills:

  • Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
  • Capability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Project and the Microsoft Office Suite.

Security Clearance:

  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance is required.
  • This position is open to U.S. citizens only due to export control regulations.

Travel Requirements:

  • Occasional travel may be required, up to 10% within and outside the continental United States.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to lift and transport equipment weighing at least 30 lbs.
  • Willingness to work in various environments, including confined spaces and extreme temperatures.
