Graduates of PTTII are expected to make impactful contributions within the manufacturing sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting educational sessions (40-hour work week)
- Designing, developing, and implementing effective instructional strategies and materials to help students achieve course goals
- Recognizing the diverse educational backgrounds and learning preferences of students
- Facilitating engaging learning experiences
- Utilizing Microsoft Teams for instructional purposes as required
- Maintaining regular office hours and managing grade documentation
- Responding promptly to inquiries for information
- Participating in faculty meetings and collaborative discussions
- Providing guidance and support to adjunct faculty
- Assisting in the evaluation and placement of students in suitable courses
- Identifying student learning outcomes and developing assessment tools to enhance instructional methods and materials in collaboration with colleagues
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the field or as an instructor
- Comprehensive understanding of the manufacturing industry
- Proficiency in operating multi-axis machinery
- Strong mechanical skills
- In-depth knowledge and experience with electronic and electrical wiring
- Familiarity with PLC systems and coding
- An associate degree or higher in Machining Technology, Industrial Technology, or Mechanical Engineering is preferred
