Role Summary:
The Senior Electrical Engineer will be a vital member of the Engineering Support Group (ESG), focusing on the enhancement of F-16 Organic Modification programs for the U.S. Air Force. This role involves updating engineering databases and technical drawings to ensure compliance and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze electrical configurations impacting F-16 aircraft utilizing Lockheed Martin's engineering databases to ascertain current configurations and their effectiveness.
  • Research and modify harness wire lists, wiring diagrams, and schematic drawings.
  • Generate engineering application lists (AIs), parts lists (PLs), reference designator lists, and service data notes.
  • Assess effectivities for MIDAS drawings through the use of engineering databases.
  • Create Design Information (DI) and Source Data (SD) packages using CATIA V5 and CADAM Computer Drafting (CCD).
  • Engage in limited domestic travel to support various F-16 aircraft evaluation events.
  • Develop Organic Change Notices (OCNs) using Electronic Document and Forms System (EDFS), CATIA V5, and CCD Graphics.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.

Basic Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, or at least 5 years of related professional experience without a degree.
  • Experience in electrical design for F-16 aircraft.
  • Proficiency in working with technical drawings, diagrams, and schematics.

Desired Skills:
While not mandatory, the following skills would enhance a candidate's profile:
  • Familiarity with aeronautics specifications and engineering drawings.
  • Ability to interpret engineering documentation and understand application and parts lists.
  • Experience with CATIA V5 or similar design software.
  • Knowledge of Lockheed Martin engineering databases.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Capability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to budget and schedule constraints.

Security Clearance Requirement:
This position necessitates a government security clearance; therefore, U.S. citizenship is required for consideration.

Work Environment:
