Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough research on the electrical configurations impacting F-16 aircraft, utilizing Lockheed Martin's extensive engineering databases to assess current configurations and related documentation.
  • Analyze and modify harness wire lists, wiring diagrams, and schematic drawings to ensure precision and compliance.
  • Develop comprehensive engineering application lists (ALs), parts lists (PLs), and reference designator lists, along with detailed drawing notes and service data.
  • Utilize MPRS to determine effectivities for MIDAS drawings, ensuring accuracy in wiring diagrams and schematics.
  • Create Design Information (DI) and Source Data (SD) packages using CATIA V5 and CADAM Computer Drafting (CCD), driving necessary updates to engineering databases.
  • Engage in limited domestic travel to support operational evaluations and installation events, typically lasting up to two weeks.
  • Generate Organic Change Notices (OCNs) through the Electronic Document and Forms System (EDFS), CATIA V5, and CCD Graphics.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience; or at least 5 years of professional experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Experience in electrical design for F-16 aircraft.
  • Proficiency in working with technical drawings, diagrams, and schematics.

Preferred Skills:
  • Familiarity with aeronautics specifications and engineering documentation.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and understand associated notes and flags.
  • Experience with CATIA V5 or similar design software.
  • Basic knowledge of Lockheed Martin's engineering databases.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Capability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Work Environment:
This position allows for a hybrid work schedule, combining remote work with on-site responsibilities at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Specific schedules will be discussed during the hiring process.
