Position Overview

The Lead Engineer for Technological Advancements will play a pivotal role in driving the development of innovative solutions tailored to meet the evolving needs of Major Command (MAJCOM) requirements. This position involves a blend of technical expertise and analytical skills to address complex challenges in the realm of emerging technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Support: Facilitate the exploration and implementation of new technologies to enhance operational capabilities.
  • Analytical Assessment: Conduct thorough technical evaluations to identify and resolve specific issues, focusing on a limited set of variables.
  • Judgment and Recommendations: Utilize sound judgment in assessing task details and providing informed recommendations regarding technical options, component selection, and necessary adaptations.
  • Supervision: Collaborate closely with senior engineers while executing assigned tasks.
  • Testing Procedures: Adhere to established testing protocols, documenting outcomes and insights gained from the execution of test plans.
  • Additional Duties: Undertake other responsibilities as assigned by management.

Please note: This position is contingent upon contract award.

QualificationsEducation
  • Required: Bachelor's Degree in a relevant engineering or scientific discipline.
  • Preferred: Master's Degree in a technical field.
Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in enhancing electronic warfare capabilities, focusing on weapon survivability, low observable technologies, and mission planning.
  • At least 2 years of experience working with the Department of Defense Innovation Center.
Preferred Experience
  • 2 years of experience in aircraft operations testing and evaluation, including test plan development and execution.
  • 2 years of experience in software development and testing methodologies.
Security Clearance
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Active Top Secret clearance with eligibility for TS/SCI is required.
