We are currently seeking a dedicated professional to contribute to our finance department in the Receivables function.

This role is centered around teamwork and necessitates effective customer engagement to address account-related inquiries, along with exceptional organizational and record-keeping capabilities. Experience within a global manufacturing context is advantageous.

Position Summary:

The Receivables Specialist will oversee the accounts receivable operations, which encompass invoicing, collections, cash application, and reporting. This position requires meticulous attention to detail, robust organizational skills, comprehensive knowledge of collection protocols, and effective communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate and issue customer invoices.
  • Research and accurately input cash receipts into the SAP system, ensuring daily verification against bank deposits.
  • Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and account issues.
  • Maintain precise customer records, tracking changes such as name alterations, mergers, and address updates, and communicate these changes to relevant personnel.
  • Assist management and staff in researching customer discrepancies, addressing deviations from payment agreements, and securing necessary approvals for applying open credits, while ensuring the accounts receivable system remains orderly.
  • Provide special reports detailing the current status of customer accounts upon request.
  • Verify deposits and accurately post to accounts receivable.
  • Prepare vouchers and pertinent information on invoices as required.
  • Duplicate, file, and retrieve accounts receivable documentation as necessary.
  • Conduct research and analysis on customer accounts.
  • Generate aging reports to monitor outstanding receivables.
  • Engage with delinquent customers to facilitate payment collection.
  • Manage and resolve inquiries from customers effectively.
  • Assist the accounting manager with the monthly reconciliation of revenue accounts.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
