About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Product Owner to join our team at Precision Medicine Group. As a key member of our Product Management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and deployment of platform solutions, ensuring they meet business objectives and deliver value to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Platform Vision and Strategy: Develop and maintain a comprehensive vision and strategy for platform implementation, aligned with company goals and client needs.
  • Implementation Enablement: Enable implementation of QuartzBio's Precision Medicine Intelligence platform/products across various cornerstone clients by collaboration with implementation and managed services teams.
  • Client Support: Provide client-facing support for technical discussions.
  • Project Management: Enable and manage project plans while driving the internal coordination and execution of these plans against the product roadmap and release schedule.
  • Implementation Roadmap: Define and prioritize the implementation roadmap, balancing long-term platform strategy with immediate client requirements.
  • Implementation Planning: Define detailed implementation plans, including user stories, acceptance criteria, and timelines, and manage the implementation backlog in collaboration with the development team.
  • Issue Resolution: Identify and resolve technical and logistical issues, preventing potential delays in product implementation.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with sales, customer success, product management and software engineering teams to ensure contract specifications are met.
  • Product Feedback: Provide feedback to the product management team on product performance, features, and potential enhancements.
  • Client Engagement: Engage with key clients and stakeholders to gather requirements and feedback, translating them into actionable implementation plans.
  • Team Alignment: Participate in regular scrums/stand-ups to align teams and support solving bottlenecks and roadblocks.
  • Agile Methodologies: Promote agile methodologies and tools to optimize the implementation process and enhance team efficiency.
  • Reporting: Aid the Product Innovation and Customer Success teams with creation of product implementation status reports.
  • Market Research: Conduct market research and analyze competitive dynamics to inform platform strategy and identify new opportunities.
  • Implementation Oversight: Oversee the end-to-end implementation process, from planning and design to deployment and post-launch support.
  • Feature Prioritization: Prioritize platform features and enhancements based on strategic importance, client impact, and technical feasibility.
  • Integration: Collaborate closely with engineering, UX/UI design, sales, and support teams to ensure seamless platform integration and delivery.
  • Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact between business stakeholders, clients, and the implementation team, ensuring clear communication and alignment.
  • KPIs: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the success of platform implementations and client satisfaction.
  • Continuous Improvement: Analyze implementation outcomes and client feedback to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous platform enhancement.
  • Mentorship: Mentor and guide junior product managers and team members, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
  • Leadership: Lead cross-functional meetings and presentations, effectively communicating implementation strategy, progress, and outcomes.
  • Industry Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, platform technologies, and best practices in product management and implementation.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field (Business, Computer Science, Project Management, Product Management, etc.). Master's degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 8 years of relevant work experience in Product Management or Product Implementation projects or cloud/infrastructure technologies, information technology (IT) consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions.
  • Customer-Facing Experience: 2 to 5 years experience working in a customer-facing role (e.g., internal and/or external).
  • Project Leadership: 3 to 6 years experience leading technical projects.
  • Methodologies: 3+ years experience with Agile and Waterfall development methodologies.
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience with products that enables clinical process - data management and operations, clinical & biomarker data, clinical systems and reference architecture (Integration patterns and data flow).
  • Leadership Experience: Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within the life sciences industry and/or Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) space.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven leadership and project management skills, ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex implementation projects.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication, written and presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical skills with a knack for technical troubleshooting and the ability to make critical decisions in high-pressure situations.
  • Project Management Skills: Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Tools and Technologies: Proficiency with agile methodologies and product management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
