Hotel Front Desk Representative

The Maritime Conference Center is seeking a skilled Hotel Front Desk Representative to join our team. As a key member of our hotel operation, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences and ensuring seamless check-in and check-out processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Pre-block guest rooms based on available floors
  • Utilize BEO's and Group Resumes to gain group details and coordinate needs with other departments
  • Deliver VIP Welcome Amenities to guest rooms
  • Check guests in and out and assign proper credentials
  • Verify financial data, customer information, and payment information
  • Ensure accurate documentation of front desk activities in MS Teams
  • Assist with health screenings and work with off-site hotels during oversell conditions
  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk and front office area
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Two years of experience in hotel front desk operations preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Hospitality systems, and POS systems
  • Ability to lift packages up to 50 pounds and walk quickly over long distances
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to provide quality service to guests
  • Personable and outgoing phone demeanor
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to connect with guests positively
  • Able to complete fire training and CPR courses
