Job Summary

The Front Desk Agent plays a critical role in providing exceptional guest service and ensuring a seamless stay for our hotel guests. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for registering and assigning rooms, issuing room keys, and transmitting and receiving messages. You will also be responsible for keeping records of occupied rooms and guests' accounts, presenting statements to and collecting payments from departing guests, making and confirming reservations, and answering PBX calls and connecting callers to the appropriate extension.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Registration and Room Assignment: Greet and register hotel guests, assign rooms, and issue room keys.
  • Communication and Record-Keeping: Transmit and receive messages, keep records of occupied rooms and guests' accounts, and present statements to and collect payments from departing guests.
  • Reservations and Room Management: Make and confirm reservations, and manage room availability and guest accounts.
  • Customer Service: Answer PBX calls, connect callers to the appropriate extension, and provide exceptional customer service to hotel guests.
Working Conditions

The work environment consists of very demanding surroundings with a high noise level. The employee is frequently exposed to second-hand tobacco smoke, fumes, or airborne particles.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and be able to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
