About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Professional Counselor to join our Neuro Rehabilitation team. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with patients and their families to provide comprehensive neurological rehabilitation services.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough evaluations to assess patient needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Provide empirically-based psychological interventions to promote patient participation and community reintegration.
  • Design and implement community reintegration activities to support patients' psychological and cognitive needs.
  • Collaborate with the treatment team to ensure effective communication and coordination of care.
  • Consult with medical providers to ensure seamless patient care and discharge planning.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment plans.
  • Adhere to company policies, HIPAA, and professional practice standards.

Qualifications

  • Master's or doctoral degree in counseling or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Current professional license and/or certification as required by the state of practice.
  • Minimum one year of post-master's degree clinical experience in neurological rehabilitation.
  • Knowledge of complex neurologic injury rehabilitation techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
