Job Summary:

• As a LADC Counselor, you will work with patients to complete intakes, admissions, discharges, and transfer paperwork.
• You will document patient progress through counseling and interaction, completing patient psychosocial and individualized treatment plans within the required time frame.
• Identify clinical/case management needs and work to address those needs, performing individual, group, and family counseling as required.
• Report patient abuse, neglect, and exploitation as required, educating patients in all aspects of treatment, corresponding health issues, and steps to recovery.

Responsibilities:

• Complete patient intakes, admissions, discharges, and transfer paperwork.

Requirements:

• Education/Licensure/Certification: Qualified candidates will hold a LADC license and have experience in the substance abuse field.
• Experience: A minimum of 500 hours of experience in substance abuse is preferred.
• Skill and Ability: Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to multitask, prioritize, and be dependable and reliable.
