Providence Community Health Centers is seeking a Pharmacy Intern to join our team. As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work closely with our pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care and services.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist pharmacists in the preparation, organization, and dispensing of medications.
- Maintain pharmacy inventory, anticipating needed medications and supplies, and placing/expediting orders as appropriate.
- Provide direct support to patients, including answering questions and addressing concerns.
- Collaborate with pharmacy and practice teams to improve the patient experience and clinic processes.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Registered as a Pharmacy Intern in the state of Maine required.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record and/or an appropriate length of driving experience for insurance purposes required.
