About the Team:

The Security Engineering team is responsible for overseeing all technical security dimensions. Their mission is to provide comprehensive guidance to ensure a secure environment for all users.

About the Role:

As a Senior Cloud Security Architect, you will be tasked with designing, implementing, and maintaining security measures to protect our cloud infrastructure and data. Your focus will be on configuring and managing cloud security solutions, strengthening cloud networks, and establishing edge protections against external threats. You will also ensure compliance with security standards and contribute to the development of those standards. Collaboration with various teams to identify and mitigate risks, as well as staying updated on the latest cloud security trends and threats, will be crucial. This role requires a robust technical background and a proactive mindset towards safeguarding our cloud ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess, deploy, and manage cloud security solutions to improve the overall security posture.
  • Engage in risk assessments and threat modeling.
  • Support other teams in identifying and resolving security challenges within cloud infrastructure while aligning with business objectives.
  • Implement and oversee cloud network security measures to protect against threats.
  • Develop security infrastructure and controls.
  • Create automation solutions to tackle security challenges.
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in cloud security engineering.
  • 8+ years of experience with public cloud infrastructure.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Golang, Java, Ruby, Python, or PHP.
  • Experience securing containerized applications and orchestration platforms like Docker or Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or similar.
  • Strong knowledge of networking and Unix/Linux servers.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A collaborative, humble, and transparent communication style.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Understanding of network security tools such as firewalls, identity-aware proxies, or VPNs.
  • Ability to conduct penetration testing and security evaluations of cloud infrastructure.
