The Cloud Solutions Architect is responsible for designing, implementing, managing, and supporting cloud infrastructures across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud platforms. Collaborating with various teams within the IT department and Data Science, this role acts as a technical authority and primary liaison for cloud-related initiatives, migrations, and integrations. Hands-on experience in a hybrid cloud environment is essential. The Cloud Solutions Architect will engage with external partners and various management levels throughout the organization. Staying informed about emerging cloud technologies and translating information policies into actionable processes is a key responsibility. Additionally, this role ensures the maintenance of high security standards and communicates any vulnerabilities and enhancements to IT Security.

How You'll Contribute to Our Success

  • Design and implement cloud solutions utilizing AWS and Azure IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.
  • Manage and support connectivity to cloud services via AWS Direct Connect and Azure Express Route.
  • Develop and implement cloud cost management, budgeting, and expense tracking at scale.
  • Support applications hosted in cloud environments.
  • Stay current with new and emerging security technologies.
  • Research, design, and deploy innovative security technologies to enhance Cornerstone's infrastructure.
  • Develop, manage, and revise cloud-related policies and procedures.
  • Conduct gap analyses against current and future requirements.

What You'll Need to Succeed

  • A minimum of 8 years of experience demonstrating increasing responsibility; experience in professional services is preferred.
  • At least 3 years of cloud experience, specifically with AWS, Azure, and O365.
  • A proactive attitude and a willingness to contribute to team success.
  • Effective and professional communication skills.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to understand the firm's financial and operational functions.
  • A commitment to providing exceptional service.
  • Experience in implementing cloud technology migrations and integrations.
  • Familiarity with programmatic cloud administration, including cloud APIs and CloudFormation Templates on AWS.
  • Expertise in Cloud Cost Management and Optimization.
  • Knowledge of Backup and Disaster Recovery strategies and design.
  • UNIX/Linux experience is required; server administration is a plus.
  • Cloud Professional Certification is required (AWS Associate Solutions Architect and/or Microsoft Azure Associate Solutions Architect or similar).
  • Additional IT Certifications are advantageous.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in a related IT field or equivalent industry experience.
