What is the Opportunity?
The Senior Solutions Architect plays a crucial role in the design, development, and maintenance of both on-premises and cloud-native applications. This position is integral to enhancing our Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Engineering, and DevOps methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the architecture and development of cross-functional, multi-platform application systems.
- Write high-quality code with a focus on automated testing and validation.
- Conduct performance analysis and execute activities for tuning, monitoring, deployment, and production support.
- Guide the implementation and maintenance of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines in a cloud environment.
- Collaborate with business partners and other teams to identify complex technical and functional requirements.
- Design and develop APIs for omni-channel clients, ensuring efficiency and scalability.
- Identify opportunities to simplify code and architecture, recommending rationalization across the application portfolio.
- Provide technical mentorship to team members and fellow architects.
- Oversee the full software development lifecycle, from ideation to production.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
- Minimum of 10 years of software development experience, including UI, middle tier, and backend.
- At least 6 years of experience in solution architecture.
- Proficiency in Cloud Solution Architecture, particularly with Azure.
- Experience with Microservices Architecture and designing REST APIs.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and methodologies.
- Experience with databases and data modeling (both SQL and NoSQL).
- Experience with Salesforce Solution Architecture.
- Strong understanding of security in application architecture.
Skills and Knowledge:
- Extensive experience with Agile development methodologies.
- Proven ability to document solution designs effectively.
- Experience with API management tools and server infrastructure.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
Compensation:
Starting base salary ranges from $122,535 to $208,715 per year, with variations based on skills, experience, and location. This position is eligible for bonuses and/or commissions.
