  • Provide exceptional customer service by serving as an attentive listener when communicating with new and potential clients to accurately identify their unique needs prior to pursuing specific insurance sales.
  • Take ownership of ensuring accurate records of all necessary bookkeeping, client, and sales reports to track and communicate the status of assigned goals.
  • Develop and tailor risk management strategies and client profiles to reflect each customer's individual needs.
  • Pursue new clients through various marketing strategies to grow your existing portfolio of policyholders.

Requirements

  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, are required.
  • Working knowledge of accounting and sales lead software is a plus.
  • Ability to learn and understand state and federal regulations that affect insurance sales, insurance clients, and the insurance industry as a whole.
  • Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communications skills are necessary; customer service skills are helpful.
  • High school diploma is required; a bachelor's degree is a plus.
