Human Resources Specialist

Basecamp Recovery Center is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Human Resources Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will play a vital role in fostering a healthy workplace culture and ensuring legal compliance.
Job Summary:The Human Resources Coordinator will provide support to our staff, ensuring that they have the resources and tools they need to succeed. This includes developing and implementing HR initiatives and systems, providing counseling on policies and procedures, and creating effective onboarding plans.
Key Responsibilities:- HR Support: Provide staff with human resources support, ensuring legal compliance and fostering a healthy workplace culture.
- Initiative Development: Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems.
- Policies and Procedures: Provide counseling on policies and procedures to ensure staff understanding and compliance.
- Onboarding: Create and implement effective onboarding plans to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.
- Training and Development: Develop and implement training and development programs to enhance staff skills and knowledge.
- Performance Management: Assist with the performance management process, ensuring that staff are held accountable for their performance.
- Disciplinary Issues: Support the management of disciplinary and grievance issues, ensuring that staff are treated fairly and consistently.
- Employee Records: Maintain employee records, including attendance and EEO data, according to policy and legal requirements.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- HR Experience: 3-5 years of previous work experience in the HR field.
- Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of HR functions, including pay and benefits, recruitment, training and development, and labor laws.
- Decision Making: Strong decision-making skills, with the ability to analyze complex situations and make informed decisions.
- Communication: Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with staff at all levels.
- Problem Solving: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve conflicts and issues in a fair and consistent manner.
