Project Controls Specialist

Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled Project Controls Analyst to support our Project Controls Manager and work closely with various teams, including Document Control, Risk Management, Contract Administration, and Financial Teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily commercial operations of projects.
- Manage project scheduling and adapt to client changes, scope modifications, and deliverable timelines.
- Establish and execute operational strategies, structures, and processes.
- Administer budgeting procedures.
- Track performance metrics to identify efficiency challenges proactively.
- Facilitate support for field operations.
- Gather data from teams to enable accurate invoicing.
- Develop control budgets.
- Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), including Earned Value reporting.
- Prepare project reports for leadership across involved companies.
- Demonstrated experience in project controls with a solid grasp of management practices.
- Familiarity with financial, timesheet, invoicing, and scheduling systems.
- Proven project and budget management capabilities.
- Comprehensive understanding of fundamental business principles.
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Effective interpersonal skills for collaboration.
- Technical diploma or degree in construction, business management, or a related field is required.
- PMP certification or similar credentials are preferred.
- Industry knowledge with a minimum of 2 years of relevant project experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel) and familiarity with various software applications.
- Basic knowledge of Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, Procore, Sharepoint, Aconex, and other relevant software is desirable.
The salary range for this position is between $85,000 and $100,000. Actual compensation packages will be determined based on various factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, experience depth, certifications, and specific work location.
