About the Role

As a dedicated Fraud Strategy Analyst, you'll play a crucial role in gathering and analyzing internal business requirements to identify potential risks and develop effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in gathering and analyzing internal business requirements through interviews, workflow analyses, and facilitated discussions with users.
  • Translate users' business requirements into detailed functional designs for development, testing, and implementation.
  • Assist in the development of solutions and recommendations for business requirements, business rules, product offerings, or changes to existing systems/applications.
  • Complete testing, implementation, and communication plans for new or modified system parameters, options, product details, or system outputs.
  • Perform post-implementation testing, monitoring, and reporting to ensure functionality.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of Line of Business, Bank Fraud & Central Operations, and Enterprise systems, processes, procedures, and products to understand business rules and their impacts on business users.
  • Conduct periodic review and testing of system parameters, options, product details, or system output to ensure accurate output and compliance with regulatory and/or audit guidelines.
  • Ensure risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled in accordance with risk and compliance policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Management, Information Studies, or a related field.
  • 2+ years' experience in the financial industry, with a focus on fraud prevention and detection.
  • Experience with data validation, building reports for management, and conducting root cause analysis and trend analysis.
  • Proficiency in Excel, SAS, and SQL.
