As a Container Orchestration Engineer at Trinity IT Services, you will be instrumental in the design, deployment, and management of containerized service platforms across both on-premises and cloud infrastructures.

Your primary focus will be on ensuring smooth integration with various tools through effective Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD) methodologies.


Key Responsibilities:

Platform Architecture and Deployment:
o Design, implement, and manage container service platforms, with a strong emphasis on CI/CD integration.
o Utilize automation to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual interventions.
o Carefully evaluate risks while optimizing task performance.

Technical Support and Troubleshooting:
o Investigate, diagnose, replicate, and resolve technical challenges reported by users of the container platforms.
o Create maintainable and reusable software solutions with a user-centric approach.
o Take responsibility for unresolved technical issues, seeking comprehensive knowledge for prompt resolution.

Documentation and Customer Support:
o Manage and oversee support inquiries from business unit clients.
o Collaborate with other engineering teams to address customer and business unit concerns.
o Contribute to the development and peer-review of knowledge base articles and product documentation.

Qualifications:

Experience and Skills:


o At least 5 years of practical experience in building and maintaining Container Platforms (e.g., PAS/TAS, PKS/TKGI, GKE, IBM Redhat OpenShift, ARO, ROSA).

o Expertise in deploying and managing Kubernetes on at least one public IaaS provider (Azure, Amazon, GCP, Alibaba).
o Strong understanding of networking principles, including TCP/IP, subnetting, socket vs. connection timeouts, routing, and DNS.
o Experience in designing and implementing Infrastructure as Code APIs using tools like Swagger.
o Solid grasp of virtual computing environments, including hypervisors and load balancing concepts.
o Familiarity with Identity Management, Access Management, and Certificate Management.
o Proven skills in programming/scripting languages (preferably Go, Ansible, Terraform, and Python).
o Hands-on experience with distributed systems (Windows and Linux) and virtualization technologies (VMware).

DevOps Methodologies:


o Understanding of DevOps practices, with practical experience in Automation/Continuous Integration using tools like Jenkins, Harness, RunDeck, GitLab, and GitHub.


  • Additional Skills (Preferred):
o Experience with NSX, NSX-T, and Panorama.
o Familiarity with Vsphere7 and TKG.
o Background in DevOps methodologies.
o Excellent communication abilities.
o On-call experience.
