Position Overview:
As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer, you will play a crucial role in enhancing automation, monitoring, and alerting systems while developing cloud infrastructure that enables our development teams to effectively deploy their applications.
Your focus will be on empowering the organization to deliver high-quality solutions more frequently and transparently.
This remote role requires candidates to reside in specific states.
Key Responsibilities:
Automation:
Develop infrastructure as code and CI/CD pipelines to support NFM's development initiatives and other applications.
Analysis:
Identify and address monitoring and alerting gaps, proposing solutions to enhance efficiency. Participate in refining build processes and automation to support various teams. Explore new methods for deploying solutions across the organization. Evaluate the effectiveness of CI/CD pipelines and suggest improvements to facilitate secure and timely deployments.
Implementation:
Collaborate at an enterprise level to pinpoint opportunities for leveraging new technologies and integrating automation for organizational benefit. Lead the adoption of new technologies that empower development teams to excel.
Support:
Maintain expertise in cloud concepts, particularly IaaS/PaaS, and engage with virtualization technologies to build our enterprise container infrastructure. Foster a culture of continuous learning and identify new educational opportunities for both personal and team growth. Share knowledge within the team to promote a learning environment.

Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science/engineering or equivalent experience.
- 4+ years of experience in Software, DevOps, or Network engineering supporting high availability systems.
- 2+ years of experience with cloud infrastructure.
- 2+ years of automation experience using scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Shell.
- 2+ years of experience with CI/CD pipelines.
- 2+ years of experience with containerization.
- 2+ years of experience in monitoring and alerting.
- Familiarity with software development processes and methodologies.
- Understanding of systems, networking, and security concepts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent troubleshooting abilities.
- Availability for on-call support as needed.
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, or early mornings based on business requirements.
