Position Overview
The Business Development Specialist plays a crucial role in driving growth within the Container Handling and Mining/Bulk Material Handling sectors across the Americas. This position requires a dynamic and persuasive professional who is eager to expand and manage client relationships while collaborating closely with the Market Development Manager and sales teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Market Development Manager to implement strategic marketing initiatives tailored to the Americas.
- Engage with various sales teams across SMO USA, SMO Canada, SMO Mexico, SMO Brazil, and the Latin America Sales Group to foster strong relationships.
- Utilize project management skills to oversee key accounts and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Conduct market analysis to identify opportunities for growth and develop actionable strategies.
- Provide technical support and training to sales personnel to enhance their effectiveness in selling to targeted market segments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, sales, marketing, or business.
- 3-5 years of experience in sales, account management, or market development.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and excellent communication skills.
- Fluency in spoken and written Spanish is essential.
- Willingness to travel within the Americas region.
