Your Contribution in This Role

3M is on the lookout for a skilled and experienced GenAI Orchestration Specialist to become a vital part of our team. In this pivotal role, you will orchestrate and enhance the GenAI RAG Architecture patterns, utilizing your proficiency in Python and your understanding of Langchain. The ideal candidate will exhibit strong collaboration, communication, leadership, and contribution skills to ensure the success of our initiatives.

As a GenAI Orchestration Specialist, you will have the chance to explore your curiosity and work with some of the most innovative and diverse minds globally. Your impact will be realized through:
  • Leading the design and execution of GenAI RAG Architecture patterns, ensuring effective orchestration and optimization of AI models.
  • Implementing advanced technologies and methodologies to boost the performance and scalability of the GenAI platform.
  • Establishing best practices and guidelines for GenAI orchestration, ensuring smooth integration with current systems and processes.
  • Assisting cross-functional teams by offering technical expertise, resolving issues, and promoting continuous improvement initiatives.
In this position, you will play a significant role in advancing our GenAI projects, leveraging your expertise and leadership abilities to deliver innovative solutions and contribute to the evolution of AI technology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and enhance GenAI RAG Architecture patterns for effective orchestration.
  • Create and deploy robust and scalable orchestration solutions for the GenAI platform.
  • Integrate and coordinate various AI services and components using APIs, messaging, and event-driven architectures.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot the performance and reliability of our orchestration layer.
  • Develop and maintain documentation and tests for our orchestration codebase.
  • Research and assess new technologies and frameworks for orchestration and automation.
Your Skills and Qualifications
To ensure your success in this role from the outset, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution.
  • Eight (8) years of experience in software development in Python or Java in a private, public, government, or military environment.
  • Five (5) years of experience in orchestration, automation, or DevOps using tools such as Github, Kubernetes, Airflow, or other Open-source Technologies.
Additional qualifications that could enhance your success in this role include:
  • Master's degree in Computer Science or Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • Experience in GenAI orchestration within a large manufacturing organization.
  • Strong knowledge of AWS Cloud platform.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs, message brokers, and event-driven architectures.
  • Familiarity with NLP & AI concepts and frameworks, such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • A passion for learning and innovation.
Work Location:
  • Hybrid Eligible (Job Duties allow for some remote work but require travel to designated locations at least 2 days per week)
Travel: May include up to 10% international
