About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Claims Team Lead to join our team at Sedgwick. As a Claims Team Lead, you will be responsible for leading teams of examiners and technical staff in the operation of workers compensation claims for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise the operation of multiple teams of examiners and technical staff for workers compensation claims
  • Monitor colleagues' workloads, provide training, and monitor individual claim activities
  • Provide technical/jurisdictional direction to examiner reports on claims adjudication
  • Maintain a diary on claims in the teams, including frequent diaries on complex or high exposure claims
Requirements
  • 6 years of claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required
  • 2 years of claims supervisor experience required
  • High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred
  • Professional certification as applicable to line of business preferred
  • Licensing/Jurisdiction Knowledge: Hawaii
