We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Claims Team Lead to join our team at Sedgwick. As a Claims Team Lead, you will be responsible for leading teams of examiners and technical staff in the operation of workers compensation claims for our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise the operation of multiple teams of examiners and technical staff for workers compensation claims
- Monitor colleagues' workloads, provide training, and monitor individual claim activities
- Provide technical/jurisdictional direction to examiner reports on claims adjudication
- Maintain a diary on claims in the teams, including frequent diaries on complex or high exposure claims
- 6 years of claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required
- 2 years of claims supervisor experience required
- High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred
- Professional certification as applicable to line of business preferred
- Licensing/Jurisdiction Knowledge: Hawaii
