COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The anticipated salary range for this position is between $121,500 and $135,000, dependent on experience, along with a complete benefits package that encompasses bonuses and a 401(k) plan.

POSITION OVERVIEW

This role is pivotal in directing, assigning, and coordinating the execution of refuel floor outages to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient outage operations in alignment with corporate and station objectives. The incumbent will uphold strict adherence to procedural compliance, Human Performance principles, and Technical Human Performance methodologies, providing necessary coaching and mentorship to foster continuous improvement.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Effectively manage refuel floor personnel to guarantee that all assigned maintenance tasks are executed safely and proficiently by qualified staff, in accordance with established procedures and site schedules.
  • Engage in various aspects of work control coordination, scheduling, and engineering discussions related to online and refuel outage activities, ensuring proper assignment, planning, and readiness for work.
  • Communicate effectively and address plant and personnel concerns to the relevant levels of Outage Services & Alliances and station management, promoting open dialogue and collaboration across all internal and external organizations.
  • Oversee operations supporting reactor disassembly and reassembly, coordination of fuel movements, LPRM, CRB exchanges, In-Vessel Visual Inspections, and modification services to fulfill contractual obligations and meet project timelines.
  • Comprehend, support, and implement all OS&A processes, including training programs, surveillance initiatives, procedure updates, and CAP, to ensure effective work practices. Identify and advocate for improvement opportunities, and contribute to the development, implementation, and monitoring of corporate and site Business Goals and objectives.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • High School Diploma
  • A minimum of 6 years of experience in the utility or related industry, including at least 4 years in the craft discipline being supervised
  • At least 3 years of experience in nuclear power plant operations
  • Strong communication skills
  • Exceptional problem-solving, decision-making, and planning abilities

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • OEM training relevant to the discipline in reactor, turbine, or steam generator projects
  • Possession of a two-year technical degree
