The anticipated salary range for this position is between $148,500 and $165,000, contingent upon experience, along with a thorough benefits package that encompasses bonuses and 401(k) contributions.
PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION
To oversee the engineering function with accountability and serve as a backup to the Senior Engineering Manager.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Manage the engineering function in alignment with station requirements and regulatory standards.
- Supervise the performance and development of assigned engineering personnel, focusing on achieving high-quality engineering outcomes.
- Provide engineering and technical leadership accountability for both short-term and long-term programs that influence site operations and reliability.
- Engage in Business Planning, Budgeting, and Business Performance reviews concerning assigned staff.
- Act as a senior resource for fleet-wide programs and initiatives aimed at standardizing and enhancing engineering systems and processes.
- Oversee program site engineers at designated locations.
On-site presence at non-primary stations is required at least once a month.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a Licensed Professional Engineer.
- 8-10+ years of engineering experience, including 5+ years in Power Plant, Industrial, or Manufacturing settings.
- Successful completion of FLS Selection Testing.
- Experience in Power Generation.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Professional Engineering Registration.
- Advanced technical degree or MBA.
