**Operations Training Specialist**

Expected salary range of $105,300 - $117,000 per year based on experience and level, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package that includes bonuses and 401K.

**Senior Operations Training Specialist**

Expected salary range of $130,500 - $145,000 per year based on experience and level, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes bonuses and 401K.

**PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION**

The role requires a deep understanding of skills and extensive subject matter expertise in executing tasks related to the analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation, and enhancement of plant-specific nuclear operations training programs.

**PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES**

+ Enhances station and personnel performance through effective training. Organizes and delivers performance-based operations RO/NLO training programs as dictated by user requirements, adhering to Constellation's TSD model and departmental protocols, while properly applying the analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation phases.

+ Ensures that training programs remain up-to-date, integrating insights from INPO Significant Operating Experience Reports, Exelon NERs, NRC Circulars, Bulletins, and Information Notices, as well as updates from plant design changes, procedure modifications, new regulations, and training effectiveness assessments.

+ Develops trainee assessments and conducts evaluations across classroom, laboratory, OJT, and simulator settings, as necessary, and provides counseling sessions for trainees, assesses outcomes, and recommends/develops tailored training programs.

+ Supports station and fleet initiatives in business operations, project management, refueling outages, emergency preparedness duties, and special projects.

+ Engages in NRC, INPO, and management audits, preparing responses to audit findings.

+ Maintains current knowledge of plant operations, disciplinary skills, and techniques, essential for developing and delivering high-quality training.

+ Oversees the collection and maintenance of auditable training records and reports necessary to document training program activities.

**Operations Training Specialist - Job Code: XKAG - Grade: E02**

**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS**

+ Associate's degree in science/engineering or education/training with 4+ years of relevant industry experience/technical background OR

+ 6+ years of relevant industry experience/technical background.

**Senior Operations Training Specialist - Job Code: XKAK - Grade: E03**

**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS**

+ Previous or current senior reactor operator license OR

+ Previous RO with the intent to obtain SRO certification WITH 4+ years of relevant industry experience OR

+ An SRO Certification WITH 4+ years of relevant industry experience AND 6 months of proven teaching in LORT or ILT.

+ Strong written and verbal communication skills.

**Operations Training Specialist - Job Code: XKAG - Grade: E02**

**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS**

+ Bachelor's degree in science/engineering or education/training.

+ 6 years of commercial nuclear power plant training experience.

**Senior Operations Training Specialist - Job Code: XKAK - Grade: E03**

**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS**

+ Bachelor's degree in science/engineering or education/training.

+ Previous or current senior reactor operator license OR

+ An SRO certification with 6+ years of relevant industry experience AND 6 months of proven teaching in LORT or ILT.
