Client Engagement Specialist

Harris Computer - Remote

Harris Computer is a leader in public safety software solutions, specializing in the development, implementation, and support of an integrated suite of products tailored for first responders in law enforcement, fire services, and emergency medical services.


Position Overview:

We are looking for a dedicated Client Engagement Specialist to foster and manage relationships with public safety organizations. This role is fully remote and open to candidates across various regions.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and nurture trusted partnerships with our public safety clientele.
  • Proactively engage with customers, gather insights, and respond to their needs.
  • Serve as the primary liaison, ensuring regular communication and updates.
  • Address customer inquiries and challenges in a timely manner.
  • Showcase new features and functionalities of our product offerings to align with customer goals.
  • Identify opportunities for product enhancements based on customer feedback.
  • Document customer requirements and translate them into actionable internal requests.
  • Focus on customer retention and satisfaction.
  • Perform additional tasks as directed by management.
  • Occasional travel may be required to meet with clients and strengthen relationships.

Qualifications:
  • Strong listening and problem-solving abilities; proactive in addressing challenges.
  • Ownership mentality with a commitment to customer success.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport at all organizational levels.
  • Knowledge of the public safety sector.
  • In-depth understanding of Harris Computer software solutions.
  • Proficient in customer management, project oversight, and relationship building.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation capabilities.
  • Adept at multitasking in a dynamic work environment.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • Previous leadership experience in a public safety context.
  • Experience in project management.
