Your Responsibilities


As a vital technical leader, you will:

  • Collaborate effectively with Product Owners and fellow engineers to conceptualize, design, plan, and deliver innovative features for Harris Computer's software solutions.
  • Assess and outline design specifications for the development of new features or enhancements to existing systems, working closely with team members to establish project scope, effort, and timelines.
  • Engage with cross-functional teams in the creation of new systems, tools, and services, while addressing design challenges and maintaining current systems.
  • Participate actively in all stages of software development, from initial concept through design, testing, deployment, monitoring, and defect resolution.
  • Ensure the scalability and high-performance of product designs.
  • Facilitate knowledge sharing, mentor other engineers, and lead by example.
  • Proactively clarify uncertainties among projects and team members.
  • Adhere to the agile manifesto's principle of prioritizing customer satisfaction through early and continuous delivery of valuable software.
  • Demonstrate a steadfast commitment to quality.
  • Guide, mentor, and contribute to the growth of a high-performing team where every member can excel.


What We Seek


We are looking for candidates with:

  • Over 10 years of experience in developing high-performance software.
  • At least 7 years of experience in SaaS development (C/C++, C#, JavaScript, TypeScript).
  • Expertise in relational and NoSQL databases.
  • Strong skills in software architecture, problem-solving, and debugging.
  • Experience with SCRUM and Agile methodologies.
  • Knowledge of distributed systems and cloud-native architectures.
  • Proficiency in database management (SQL Server, Oracle, Postgres, MySQL, etc.).
  • Experience in front-end development (React, Angular, Bootstrap, etc.).
  • A minimum of 5 years in Agile team collaboration.
  • A proven track record of technical influence and stakeholder engagement.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • The capacity to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • A strong commitment to product quality and customer satisfaction.
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
