Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Design Sales Consultant to join our team. As a Design Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for servicing qualified leads, providing exceptional client service, and meeting sales objectives. You will work closely with our award-winning marketing team and district leadership to ensure your success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Expertly match our products and services to client needs
  • Successfully close appointments by demonstrating our unique value proposition and building trust and credibility
  • Properly execute all systems and procedures to ensure client satisfaction and avoid order errors
  • Measure, record, and configure specifications accurately and efficiently
  • Provide high-level client service and follow up in a friendly, professional, and timely manner
  • Be flexible to the needs of the business, including appointment scheduling and time off requests
  • Live our core values and understand and execute company operating policies and procedures
Requirements
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Quick learner who is adaptable, self-reliant, and resourceful
  • Understands and carries out oral and written instructions
  • Expresses thoughts, ideas, and concerns in a positive, respectful, and productive manner
  • Works independently, but also functions well as part of a team
  • High school degree or equivalent is required; some college work is preferred
  • Availability to work full-time, five days per week, including one weekend day
  • Proficiency with using a PC and Microsoft Windows-based programs
  • Ability to quickly learn and follow new technology processes and systems
  • Reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and proof of insurance
  • Can lift and carry up to 20 pounds
  • 2-5 years of relationship selling experience in in-home or outside sales, preferably in specialty or custom products/services, or retail environment in a similar field
  • Education or experience in design and decor is preferred
  • Experience with POS systems is preferred
