Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Executive Sales Director to lead our sales team and drive business growth. The successful candidate will be responsible for formulating overall sales and delivery strategy, managing people, and establishing policies to ensure the success of our local business unit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Growth: Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth and increase market share.
  • Team Management: Supervise and mentor sales managers and warehouse operations managers to ensure they have the necessary skills and resources to succeed.
  • Account Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure retention and growth.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee inventory control and ensure that stock levels are adequate to meet customer demand.
  • Operational Excellence: Work closely with the Executive Team to ensure that all operational aspects of the business are running smoothly and efficiently.
  • Industry Participation: Participate in industry events and conferences to stay up-to-date on market trends and competitor activity.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of our products and services to effectively communicate their value to customers.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Provide regular sales reports and analysis to the Executive Team to inform business decisions.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum 4 years of operations management experience, preferably in the flooring industry.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Skills: Strong business acumen, excellent communication and leadership skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
