This is a full-time role offering a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability, critical illness coverage, and a 401k plan with employer contributions.
Position Summary:
The selected candidate will be responsible for driving sales of medical products within the designated Florida territory, achieving individual sales targets, participating in trade shows, and collaborating with distributor representatives. This role entails selling to distributors and dealers while providing exceptional service to various facilities including long-term care, rehabilitation, hospice, and homecare.
Key Responsibilities:
- Formulate an annual sales strategy for the territory and provide updates to the Regional Manager on a quarterly basis.
- Build, nurture, and expand the customer base while following up on leads and maintaining essential client relationships.
- Engage with various departments including:
- Purchasing: Engage with executive directors, owners, purchasing agents, and logistics personnel to ensure inclusion in bid and quotation processes.
- Nursing: Collaborate with nursing staff including WOCN, directors of nursing, and wound care specialists.
- Therapy: Work with physical and occupational therapists.
- Environmental Services: Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams.
- Transport Services: Liaise with transport service personnel.
- Discharge Planning: Partner with case managers and social workers.
- Achieve or surpass sales targets as outlined in the sales plan.
- Ensure clients receive appropriate product samples and informational materials.
- Provide educational in-service training to customers.
- Assist the Marketing Department by sharing insights on new products, market trends, pricing, and competitive analysis.
- Participate in clinical programs and workshops as assigned.
- Adhere to the Quality Policy and established procedures.
- Attend scheduled regional and national sales meetings.
- Follow safety protocols to safeguard personal and company property.
- Perform additional duties as directed by management.
- Collaborate with national, regional, and local distributors.
