Crisis Response Specialist

**Job Overview:**
We are seeking a skilled Crisis Response Specialist to join our Mobile Rapid Response Crisis Team at the Downtown Emergency Service Center. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for providing crisis intervention services to individuals in need throughout King County.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Perform timely outreach services to individuals needing crisis intervention services, assessment, referral, and linkage to needed services.
- Provide multi-axial assessments, substance use disorder assessments, crisis intervention, stabilization, and meaningful engagement.
- Establish and implement a plan to successfully engage clients in relevant services and other resources.
**Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in social work, psychology or other relevant behavioral science and be eligible for a Licensed AAC credential or any other superseding credential that meets RCW 71.05.020 requirements.
A strong working knowledge of DSM IV (and its successor) and Harm Reduction strategies is essential. The ability to assess situations quickly and respond appropriately to any type of mental health and/or chemical dependency crisis to ensure the physical and psychological safety of clients is critical.
**Estimated Salary:** $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
