About the Job

We are seeking a Crisis Intervention Specialist to join our Mobile Rapid Response Crisis Team at Downtown Emergency Service Center. As a member of our team, you will be working in the community responding to adults experiencing mental health or substance use crises. You will work closely with colleagues to identify therapeutic options and next steps for individuals in crisis.

The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in social work, psychology or other relevant behavioral science and be eligible for a Licensed AAC credential. They should also have strong communication and writing skills, as well as the ability to assess situations quickly and respond appropriately to ensure physical and psychological safety.

Key responsibilities include performing timely outreach services, providing multi-axial assessments and stabilization, establishing plans to engage clients in relevant services, and completing data collection and documentation. The salary for this position is estimated to be around $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience.
