**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Professional to join our Mobile Rapid Response Crisis Team at the Downtown Emergency Service Center (DESC). As a member of our team, you will be on the front lines responding to adults in the community experiencing mental health or substance use crises. You will work in a team alongside other skilled colleagues to identify therapeutic options and next steps to resolve crisis situations.

About the Role:

This role requires a strong understanding of recovery and resilience, as well as excellent communication and writing skills. You will need to assess situations quickly and respond appropriately to ensure the physical and psychological safety of clients. Additionally, you will work effectively with staff from various backgrounds and clients displaying a wide range of unpleasant and/or bizarre behavior.

Responsibilities:

In response to Crisis Connections and other referents, perform timely outreach services to individuals needing crisis intervention services.Provide multi-axial assessments, substance use disorder assessments, crisis intervention, stabilization, and meaningful engagement.Establish and implement a plan to successfully engage clients in relevant services and other resources.Complete all data collection and documentation required.Develop and maintain cooperative relationships with programs providing services for the population served.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must have a Master's degree in social work, psychology, or another relevant behavioral science, or a Bachelor of Nursing degree with a specialty in mental health. Additionally, you must be eligible for a Licensed AAC credential or any other superseding credential that meets RCW 71.05.020 requirements to act as a Mental Health Professional. You should also have experience providing crisis intervention services within the mental health and/or substance use disorder field.

Salary: The estimated salary for this role is $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
