Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate professional to lead our Mental Health Crisis Response Team. The successful candidate will have a Master's degree in social work, psychology, or a related field, and at least one year of experience in community-based behavioral health services. A strong understanding of recovery principles, crisis intervention, and stabilization is essential. The ideal candidate will be able to drive an agency or personal vehicle to conduct business, possess a valid Washington State driver's license, and have an insurable driving record.

About the Role

This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires excellent communication and writing skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with clients displaying a wide range of behaviors. You will supervise and train team members, coordinate day-to-day operations, and provide clinical and psychosocial assessments in the field. Your strong knowledge of DSM V and ability to assess situations quickly will enable you to respond appropriately and calmly to any type of mental health and/or chemical dependency crisis.

Responsibilities
  1. Supervise and train team members to ensure high-quality care standards and practice skills.
  2. Coordinate day-to-day operations, including managing schedules, staffing models, and team meetings.
  3. Provide clinical and psychosocial assessments in the field, making mental health diagnoses and developing treatment plans.
  4. Assist clients in accessing internal resources and identifying unmet needs that may be causing recurrent crises.
Requirements
  • Masters degree in social work, psychology, or a related field.
  • At least one year of experience in community-based behavioral health services.
  • Strong understanding of recovery principles, crisis intervention, and stabilization.
  • Valid Washington State driver's license and insurable driving record.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Licensed Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, or Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Washington.
  • Licensed Substance Use Disorder Professional (SUDP) in the state of Washington.
  • Crisis Outreach and/or Crisis Intervention experience.
Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is $90,063.60 - $101,927.52 annually, commensurate with experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including dental, life, long-term disability, medical insurance, and paid time off.
