About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Community Director to oversee the day-to-day operations of one of our properties. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the property's budget, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing exceptional customer service to our residents.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in affordable housing programs, including LIHTC, HUD, and USDA-Rural Development. You will possess excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team of employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the property's budget and ensure compliance with financial regulations
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the property, including maintenance and repairs
  • Provide exceptional customer service to residents, responding to their concerns and resolving issues in a timely manner
  • Motivate and guide a team of employees, providing coaching and feedback to improve performance
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including those related to fair housing and disability access

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business or public administration
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in affordable housing programs, including LIHTC, HUD, and USDA-Rural Development
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team of employees
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage complex budgets and projects
  • Certification or designation from an accredited organization, such as ARM or CAM, preferred
