Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, including HVAC, refrigeration, and plumbing.
- Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues with minimal supervision.
- Conduct visual inspections of tools, equipment, and machines to identify potential issues.
- Carry out equipment maintenance, including cleaning and lubrication.
- Identify and operate shut-off valves for equipment.
- Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and requisition parts as needed.
- Communicate with guests and colleagues to resolve maintenance issues.
- Assist in training and mentoring junior engineers.
- Perform Engineer on Duty responsibilities, including readings and rounds.
- High school diploma or equivalent and vocational or technical background.
- Extensive experience in general maintenance, electrical, or refrigeration.
- Parts inventory and requisition experience.
- Exterior and interior surface preparation and painting experience.
- At least 2 years of hotel engineering/maintenance experience.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Universal Chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) Certification.
- Supervisory experience.
- Knowledge of engineering computer programs related to preventative maintenance, energy management, and other systems.
