Job Summary
Insight Global is seeking a highly skilled Commissioning Specialist to join our team. As a Commissioning Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing and testing mechanical systems in a local airport. These systems include HVAC (boilers and chillers), plumbing, building control systems, lighting, power, distribution, etc.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and test mechanical systems to ensure they meet design specifications and industry standards.
- Communicate with team members and subcontractors regarding design reviews and necessary adjustments for electro-mechanical systems.
- Ensure compliance with building codes and site safety procedures.
- Work remotely while reporting to the site daily to oversee testing of mechanical systems.
Requirements
- 3-10 years of commissioning experience specific to HVAC, plumbing, lighting, power, control systems.
- Prior experience testing and documenting work on electro-mechanical systems.
- Commissioning certifications: CxA, CCP, BCxP, NEBB, NETA, or QCxP.
- Associates or Bachelors Degree in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical preferred).
