Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Marriott International, Inc. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our properties by performing routine maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to and resolve guest repair requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on hotel equipment, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance tasks to ensure the longevity of equipment and minimize downtime.
  • Identify and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and excellent guest service.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in maintenance and engineering.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational or technical background preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience in hotel maintenance or a related field.
  • Valid driver's license and Universal Chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) certification required.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Extensive experience in general maintenance, electrical, or refrigeration.
  • Parts inventory and requisition experience.
  • Exterior and interior surface preparation and painting experience.
