Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front Office Manager to join our team at Canopy by Hilton Sioux Falls Downtown. As a key member of our hotel's leadership team, you will be responsible for directing and administering Front Office operations to deliver exceptional guest service and financial profitability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Front Office Operations: Manage all Front Office operations, including guest service and registration, room inventory and availability, guest service standards and initiatives, product quality, cost controls, and overall profitability.
  • Team Management: Monitor and develop team member performance, including supervision, scheduling, counseling, evaluations, recognition, and rewards.
  • Service and Satisfaction: Monitor and assess service and satisfaction trends, evaluate and address issues, and make improvements accordingly.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with Company standards.
  • Guest Relations: Meet and greet guests, respond to guest inquiries, requests, and issues in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner, and resolve guest concerns.
  • Revenue Growth: Initiate and implement up-selling techniques to promote hotel services and facilities to maximize room occupancy and overall revenue.
  • Knowledge and Training: Ensure team members have current knowledge of hotel products, services, facilities, events, pricing, and policies, as well as knowledge of the local area and events.
  • Audit and Recruitment: Complete audit procedures, as needed, and recruit, interview, and train team members.
Requirements
  • Experience: 1 or more years of front desk experience in hospitality, with previous supervisor or management experience a plus.
  • Skills: Passion for hospitality, ability to build and foster a team that delivers exceptional experiences for guests, and strong leadership and management skills.
