Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Therapeutic Activities Coordinator to join our team at WMC Health. As a key member of our mental health services team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing therapeutic individual and group activities to support the recovery and well-being of our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development of treatment plans that align with the individual needs and goals of our patients.
  • Design and implement individualized therapeutic activity schedules that reflect the patient's needs and functional level.
  • Provide individual and group activities to patients in a safe and supportive environment, while maintaining a focus on their treatment goals.
  • Complete assessments and treatment plans in compliance with regulations and established time frames.
  • Document patient progress and services provided, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
  • Participate in departmental quality assurance and improvement activities, contributing to the ongoing development of our mental health services.

Requirements:

  • One year's experience working in mental health or human services, required.
  • Bachelor's degree in human services, Recreation, Art, or Music, required. Master's degree preferred.
  • Ability to plan and perform therapeutic activities utilizing a variety of media.
