Key Responsibilities
  • Education and Training
    • Develop and implement educational programs for patients, families, and staff
    • Provide training and guidance to staff on dialysis procedures and best practices
  • Patient Care Coordination
    • Coordinate patient care activities with interdisciplinary teams
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and guidelines
  • Quality Improvement
    • Monitor and analyze quality indicators and performance improvement projects
    • Develop and implement corrective action plans to address quality issues
  • Leadership and Collaboration
    • Collaborate with dialysis leadership team to develop and implement education programs
    • Provide guidance and support to staff on quality improvement initiatives
Requirements
  • 2 years of acute care dialysis experience required
  • Experience in nursing education preferred
  • ASN or completion of accredited nursing program required
  • BSN or Master's degree in nursing preferred
  • Current NYS RN license and BLS certification required
