The successful candidate will be responsible for providing education and training to patients, families, and staff, as well as coordinating patient care and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities- Education and Training
- Develop and implement educational programs for patients, families, and staff
- Provide training and guidance to staff on dialysis procedures and best practices
- Patient Care Coordination
- Coordinate patient care activities with interdisciplinary teams
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and guidelines
- Quality Improvement
- Monitor and analyze quality indicators and performance improvement projects
- Develop and implement corrective action plans to address quality issues
- Leadership and Collaboration
- Collaborate with dialysis leadership team to develop and implement education programs
- Provide guidance and support to staff on quality improvement initiatives
- 2 years of acute care dialysis experience required
- Experience in nursing education preferred
- ASN or completion of accredited nursing program required
- BSN or Master's degree in nursing preferred
- Current NYS RN license and BLS certification required
